Sweetest Sound

Tonight when Hailey was taking a bath she was being really silly and making faces at Tyler. All of a sudden he just started laughing hysterically at her. It was the first time we had heard his giggles and they were so cute. We of course got the video camera out and had Hailey entertain him again so we could get the sweet sound on camera! It is amazing how one little laugh can bring so much joy!

Date with Papa and GeeGaw

Papa and GeeGaw took Hailey to her first big screen movie. It was the 70th anniversary of
The Wizard of Oz
so all theaters showed it for one night. Hailey was so excited! She is OBSESSED with the movie and probably knows it better than any grown-up I know. When my mom and dad picked her up for the date, she was dressed in her Dorothy dress with her ruby red slippers. She was in heaven with a large screen and buttery popcorn. My mom and dad said that she provided commentary for the entire theater. Later on that night I heard her singing, "follow the yellow brick road" to herself as she was trying to sleep! Too cute! My mom has all the pictures on her camera so hopefully I can get some on here soon!

Air Show

Today we took the kids to the Air Show at Nellis Air Force base. I also had a sweet sweet moment when I was holding Tyler and he looked up and touched my face and continued to pat it for the first time! I MELTED!

Big Bath

This little guy LOVES bath time. After a long day at the Air Show we decided to let him get in the big bath with Hailey. He loved every minute of it. Hailey thought it was so silly to have Tyler in the bath with her and she had a great time washing his toes! =)

3 Months

Tyler is ALREADY 3 months old and I keep wondering why it has to go so fast! Here are some new things he has been doing this past month...
  • He has turned into an amazing little sleeper. He will go down at night and sleep for about 7 hours, wake up and eat and then go back down for about 3 more hours. LOVE IT!
  • Started Giggling and it is the sweetest sound EVER!

  • Kicks feet like mad, he is going to be a wild one when he starts moving!

  • He is already trying to sit up on his own by doing an ab curl every time he is laying down.

  • He loves to suck on his fist and is starting to drool A LOT!

  • He LOVES his sissy. He is always staring at her and is extremely entertained by her every move.

  • He weighed 13 lbs. 4 oz. and was 23 in. at our last check up and is wearing 3-6 month clothes.
  • Poor kid had to get his blood drawn already because he has developed an allergy and we can't figure out what it is. Every time he eats his entire body breaks out into hives! He doesn't seem to be bothered by them but they get really bad!
  • He has found his thumb and sucks on it. We are really hoping it doesn't become a habit!

Happy 3 month Birthday Tyler Keith, WE LOVE YOU!

Big Girl Bed

Last night was the first night Hailey slept in her new bed. Tonight we couldn't get her to stay in it. She kept coming into the family room and asking us if she could give brother one more kiss. I hope we didn't move her out too soon!

Gotta LOVE it

Wes and Bailey were hanging out for the day so we decided to go to the park since it was in the low 80's. Gotta love Novembers in Vegas! Hailey had a blast running around with the kids and Tyler was perfectly content being outside in the PERFECT weather! We even went on a bike ride later that night to soak in some more great weather!

Happy Halloween!

Our Little Ladybug

Hailey and Tyler with Papa and GeeGaw

The four of us!

Posing with Great Grandma

Aunt Amy and Uncle Jed stopped by to show of their costumes!

Eating candy and hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa Halligan

This Halloween started off with carving pumpkins and ended with a sugar high. =) We took off in the early afternoon to go visit family and show of the kids' costumes. Then we headed back to our house to go trick of treating. Grandma and Grandpa Halligan joined us in the adventure. Tyler was not very happy wearing his monkey costume. I think it was just too hot for him. He looked really cute in it though! Hailey loved her costume. Halloween was NOT the first time she wore it either. She must of had that thing on at least fifty times before Halloween even rolled around. She was obsessed with it! This was the first year we actually took her trick or treating and it was HILARIOUS! She was so cute! She knocked on the door and would say "trick or treat" so softly and then when she would get the candy she would yell, "thank you"! Then she would walk to the street and want to open the candy immediately. We did this at every house. We tried to convince her to save the candy until we got home but that didn't work out! The last house we went to Hailey ended up grabbing a cactus (the reason why it was the last house) so we headed home to break out the tweezers!

Baby's First Halloween

Happy 1st Halloween Tyler! You made the cutest little monkey ever!

Carving Pumpkins

Carving pumpkins this year was a lot of fun. I remember last year Hailey got so sad when she found out what we were going to do to the pumpkin, she kept hugging the pumpkin. This year she couldn't wait to make her jack o' lantern. Tyler just sat and took it all in while Daddy did most of the dirty work. Hailey refused to touch the "guts" because she did not want to get dirty. After a lot of convincing we finally talked her into putting her hands inside and at least touching it. We had to wash them immediately. She is too funny!

Trunk or Treat!

This year Hailey and Tyler went Trunk or Treating with Savannah and Mackenzie. Tyler didn't even get into his monkey outfit because he slept the whole time. Hailey dressed up as a ladybug and looked adorable. It was amazing to see all the cars and how much effort people put into decorating them!
