This Halloween started off with carving pumpkins and ended with a sugar high. =) We took off in the early afternoon to go visit family and show of the kids' costumes. Then we headed back to our house to go trick of treating. Grandma and Grandpa Halligan joined us in the adventure. Tyler was not very happy wearing his monkey costume. I think it was just too hot for him. He looked really cute in it though! Hailey loved her costume. Halloween was NOT the first time she wore it either. She must of had that thing on at least fifty times before Halloween even rolled around. She was obsessed with it! This was the first year we actually took her trick or treating and it was HILARIOUS! She was so cute! She knocked on the door and would say "trick or treat" so softly and then when she would get the candy she would yell, "thank you"! Then she would walk to the street and want to open the candy immediately. We did this at every house. We tried to convince her to save the candy until we got home but that didn't work out! The last house we went to Hailey ended up grabbing a cactus (the reason why it was the last house) so we headed home to break out the tweezers!
