Happy Thanksgiving!

This Thanksgiving was the best. I love being surrounded by people that I love while we all stuff our faces! I have so many reasons to be thankful! I am blessed with such a good life! Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving! Hailey and her Turkey shirt!
Leftovers on her face! She is saving them for later!

17 Months old

Hailey still continues to grow like a weed and is now 17 months old. Like I have said over and over again...it goes by way too fast! We love every new minute we get to spend with our little munchkin. She is so much fun, and Patrick and I are highly entertained by everything she does.

Some New Things this Month:

  • Aunt Amy introduced Hailey to her new favorite phrase, "oh Sh*t". She says it in perfect context which makes it even more cRaZy! Patrick and I tried so hard not to laugh when our sweet little baby girl accidentally dropped her carrots on the ground and then muttered, "oh Sh*t".
  • She now knows how to make the noises that a cow, horse, duck, dog, cat, and bear make. She also loves to say the word "animal". When you ask Hailey what "Hailey says", she responds with a "WAAAAA". It is too funny!
  • She loves to ride on her papa's "ud nuns" (motorcycles, four wheelers). Hailey calls them the "ud nuns" because of the sounds they make?? ( I think). She is obsessed! Every time we see a motorcycle while driving she starts yelling "ud nun" over and over again.
  • Jumping is one of Hailey's new favorite things as well as mine. She makes me laugh so hard when she tries to jump because she puts so much effort into it and then doesn't even make it off the ground! I wonder what will happen when she actually does get some air?
  • Hailey loves it when I sing the ABC's to her. She also tries really hard to repeat them! Her singing usually consists of A, B, and E over and over again. Hey, at least she is trying!
  • Her new favorite word it Okay. She says it anytime you ask her to do something. She usually says "otay mommy" or "k". I love it!
  • Hailey loves taking a shower with her daddy! She likes to let the water hit her back. She has fallen asleep in the shower several times. It is cute!
  • She likes to say the phrase, "Where did ____ go?" Then when she is done saying it she answers herself by saying, "I don't know"...She is too funny !
  • Hailey is developing good manners, so far. She loves to say please and thank you. She also ends up apologizing a lot to her daddy by saying "sorry daddy". Very cute!
  • Patrick taught Hailey how to give knuckles. She likes to give people knuckles and says "boom" as you are hitting fists with her!

My Husband...The Genius!

So tonight I was in the garage and I found a Rubik's cube. I asked Patrick why we had a Rubik's cube and his response was because he knows how to solve it! I didn't believe him so of course made him do it over and over again to show me that he could! The last time he did it in like 4 minutes. No matter how much I mixed it up, he was able to solve it! He told me he learned how to do it all those long nights he was working surveillance. He is the only person I have ever known that could do this! You go Patrick!

More California Fun!

Here I am teaching the girls how to jump on hotel beds. Am I a good example for them, or what? We had a lot of fun!

Papa with all his grand kids at Sea Port Village!
Funny Story... While we were in Sea Port Village we went into a store to buy Hailey some new shoes. We had shoes all picked out and ready to be purchased until she saw these Elmo shoes. She went crazy! She was so excited to see Elmo on shoes that she just kept saying Elmo, Elmo over and over again. Of course, her daddy HAD to buy them for her. We put them on her in the store and she ran out yelling ELMO SHOES and starting bending down and showing everyone who walked by her new Elmo shoes. It was hysterical!
Here she is showing her new shoes off to her cousins!

Sea World

During the long break we had for Halloween and Nevada Day, the family decided to head to California! On Halloween we went to Sea World. We all had so much fun!

Here is a picture if Hannah, Sydney and Hailey dressed alike. One lady gasped at me when she saw me with all three of them because she thought I had triplets. I think the lady was crazy!

Mommy showing Hailey the dolphins!

Daddy and Hailey feeding the dolphins. We all got to feed them and touch them! It was a lot of fun! Hailey was really excited!

Patrick took this picture of all of us BEFORE we figured out why they called it the SOAK section!
Shamu showing us why it was a BAD IDEA to sit in the soak section!

The first time Shamu went around we all got drenched! Hailey loved it and thought it was so cool. He went around about three times and got us all soaking wet, but it was so much fun! Hailey even liked tasting the salt water that was dripping off of her face! GROSS =)

Papa and the kids after their shower from Shamu!

Hailey loves her daddy and her papa so much! She was so happy to be holding both of their hands!

She kept saying "oh Wow" every time she was excited about something! Here is a picture of Daddy and Hailey riding the Sky Tram. We were really high up and Hailey loved looking down.

Wild Animal Park

On the last day of our California trip we went to the Wild Animal Park. Here are a few of the MANY pictures that I took!

Here is Patrick wearing Wes' jacket! Sorry babe, just had to post it! Love you! =)

When we first got to the park Hailey crashed! We had a really long weekend and she did not take any naps at all. She is used to her two naps each day so we were surprised that she was in such a good mood all weekend!

We woke Hailey up to take her into the bird sanctuary! I think the expression says it all! She kept saying "oh Wow"! It was so cute!

Daddy being attacked by the birds and Hailey laughing!

Hailey loved the birds! She thought they were so funny!

I did not like the birds! They were CRAZY! Look at all my family members laughing at me in the background! Thanks guys!

The three of us riding around in a jeep looking at all the wild animals!

The rest of the family!

Of course we had to buy Hailey something! She loved this cheetah and kept kissing and hugging it!

*WARNING* Not Suitable for Grandma's ears!

OK, this is so wrong, but so funny! We went to California over the weekend and Amy decided to teach Hailey some new words. I don't think Amy realized that Hailey is a little sponge, so kidding around Amy said it and the next thing we all know Hailey was saying it over and over again. The best part about it all is that Amy tried to make it okay by telling us ( last video) that we can teach her UNBORN children how to say "oh sh*t" someday too! ha ha.... still doesn't make it OK AMY! Sorry that I am encouraging my child to cuss in the videos, just couldn't help myself! Sorry Mom and Sharon.... Hey, you do have to admit it is sort of cute and totally funny!

Halloween Activities!

We had a lot of fun celebrating Halloween with Hailey this year! Here are a few of the fun activities we did!
All the men in the family went deer hunting in mid October so Amy and I took the three little girls to the pumpkin patch. It was actually more like a carnival and a HUGE rip off, but the little ones had a blast. Here is a pic of Hannah, Hailey and Sydney sitting on the pumpkins.

Here Hailey is playing with the hay and not even caring about the pumpkins! =)

Every October my family throws a huge Halloween party for the kids at my Aunt's house. Hailey had a blast! She listened to the kids sing karoke and danced all night. Mackenzie and Hailey are posing in the picture.

Mommy and Hailey

Here Hailey is showing off her dance moves!

Daddy and Hailey at another pumpkin patch! They are looking for a pumpkin to carve!

Hailey hugging the pumpkin! I think she knew what it had coming!

Hailey checking out the finished product!

Since Hailey is obsessed with cats we decided she should be one for Halloween this year. She was not fond of her costume.
