17 Months old

Hailey still continues to grow like a weed and is now 17 months old. Like I have said over and over again...it goes by way too fast! We love every new minute we get to spend with our little munchkin. She is so much fun, and Patrick and I are highly entertained by everything she does.

Some New Things this Month:

• Aunt Amy introduced Hailey to her new favorite phrase, "oh Sh*t". She says it in perfect context which makes it even more cRaZy! Patrick and I tried so hard not to laugh when our sweet little baby girl accidentally dropped her carrots on the ground and then muttered, "oh Sh*t".
• She now knows how to make the noises that a cow, horse, duck, dog, cat, and bear make. She also loves to say the word "animal". When you ask Hailey what "Hailey says", she responds with a "WAAAAA". It is too funny!
• She loves to ride on her papa's "ud nuns" (motorcycles,four wheelers). Hailey calls them the "ud nuns" because of the sounds they make?? ( I think). She is obsessed! Every time we see a motorcycle while driving she starts yelling "ud nun" over and over again.
• Jumping is one of Hailey's new favorite things as well as mine. She makes me laugh so hard when she tries to jump because she puts so much effort into it and then doesn't even make it off the ground! I wonder what will happen when she actually does get some air?
• Hailey loves it when I sing the ABC's to her. She also tries really hard to repeat them! Her singing usually consists of A, B, and E over and over again. Hey, at least she is trying!
• Her new favorite word it Okay. She says it anytime you ask her to do something. She usually says "otay mommy" or "k". I love it!
• Hailey loves taking a shower with her daddy! She likes to let the water hit her back. She has fallen asleep in the shower several times. It is cute!
• She likes to say the phrase, "Where did ____ go?" Then when she is done saying it she answers herself by saying, "I don't know"...She is too funny !
• Hailey is developing good manners, so far. She loves to say please and thank you. She also ends up apologizing a lot to her daddy by saying "sorry daddy". Very cute!
• Patrick taught Hailey how to give knuckles. She likes to give people knuckles and says "boom" as you are hitting fists with her!
