New Year's Eve!

Daddy ALWAYS has to work New Year's Eve so Hailey gave him a big hug and off he went! We missed him!
Hailey, Tyler and Maddox checking out the fireworks from Aunt Angie's upstairs window. We had the best view!
Hailey was chasing the boys with their nerf guns at 1:30 in the morning! Crazy girl!
This picture was taken at 1:45 am. This kid was EXCITED about the new year!
This is what Tyler did almost the WHOLE day to make up for his loss of sleep!
Happy New Year!

Mustache Man

I am going to be in so much trouble for this post! Patrick and his whole ARMOR team decided to grow mustaches while the only guy on their unit with a mustache was on vacation. This was the end result. I can't look at him without laughing. It is hilarious and kind of creepy! They are going to take a picture with all 14 guys and their cool new facial hair in front of the famous Las Vegas sign on the strip and then he is shaving it off... THANKFULLY!
SO SO SO SO FUNNY!!!!!!!!

Snow Day

It is hard to believe that the weather in Vegas has been so nice but when we hop in out truck and drive twenty minutes we get 72 new inches of snow to play in at Mt. Charleston. On our way up the mountain we were stopped by police where they were making sure all trucks going up the hill had four wheel drive because it was snowing pretty bad! That didn't stop us from having a good time!
This was Tyler's first and last trip down the hill that day. He didn't like it much. Maybe it's because daddy lost the sled and they were using his butt! Tyler might also be traumatized from last years sledding experience where Hailey made him face plant into the snow! Who knows!
Daddy and Hailey crashing. She was laughing so hard this whole day. She kept saying, "I am having so much fun but it is really cold!"
Love them!
Tyler didn't even want to attempt it again!
Hailey and I right before we made snow angels. She also wanted to put her face in the snow all the time because she said she wanted to be like Kevin from the movie Home Alone.
So Cute!
This is HILARIOUS! Hailey couldn't stop laughing while she threw snow in Daddy's face. She got a HUGE kick out of it. She also liked when Daddy threw snow in her face!
Daddy got it good here!
Tyler and I lasted about twenty minutes in the crazy cold white stuff! We went back to the truck and watched Hailey and Daddy tackle some pretty tough hills while the heater was blowing in our face. Tyler was so cute. When I asked him if he was cold he would shake his head up and down and say, "yeah" and when I asked him if he wanted to go play in the snow he would get real serious, and shake his head from side to side. I guess that was his way of saying NO WAY MOM! It was so much fun to see how exited Hailey got in the snow. She has been begging to go to Montana to play with Grandma and Grandpa in their snow! Glad she had a good time and we can't wait to go again!

Christmas

Christmas was so much fun this year. I loved seeing the excitement in Hailey and Tyler's eyes when they discovered their presents from Santa. They had a blast opening gifts this year and spending time with family. Santa sure out did himself this year, next year we need to write a shorter list!

My kids didn't wake up until 8. What happened to the 4 am wake up calls that my sisters and I used to give our parents? I am sure they will come! When Hailey peeked out her door the first thing she saw was my dad and asked really excited, "Mommy, Is Papa Santa Claus?" ha ha! Here she is with her presents. Yes, Santa did bring her the flowers she was asking him for and so much more!
Tyler was excited to see his gifts too!
Look what else Santa brought? They were SO excited. Tyler couldn't stop squealing and Hailey said, "Man, Santa sure is cool!!!!" ha ha
Enjoying their new present!
Hailey had to get into her new Rapunzel dress right away!
Tyler showing off his new hat!
This was funny because my mom made Patrick open this before her and my dad left. He was so worried it was going to be a repeat of last years present. He said, "If this is a shirt that says that I am going to be a dad then I don't want to open it!" It was a remote control helicopter instead, way more fun! =)
Opening gifts at my mom and dad's house! Pure MADNESS!
Tyler digging in to one of his gifts!
Tyler LOVES his new police car!
Surprising Grandma with pictures of all the grand kids!
Papa wand Tyler were surprised too!
Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve

After church we had a little photo shoot in front of the tree. Hailey cooperated, Tyler not so much! Then we made Santa some cookies, tasted some of Santa's cookies, read The Night Before Christmas, wrestled a little and then went to bed to dream of presents!

Abby is on the look out to make sure there are no peeping eyes that want to catch them working!

My Daddy's Birthday!

Happy Birthday to the greatest Papa and Dad anyone could ask for!
We love you more than you know!
XOXO

Santa Party

Every year my mom and dad have a Santa party at their house. It is a lot of fun for the kids! Not sure who has more fun, the kids or my mom and dad! They are great sports about making the Holiday's fun for all! I love how giving they are!
Hailey making a gingerbread cookie. The kids hear Santa jingling down the hall!Just the sight of the man makes Tyler cringe! ha ha!
Hailey asking Santa for flowers!
So excited to get the present from Santa!
Tyler is probably getting REALLY sick of this Santa Clause business! We just keep torturing the poor kid over and over again! Hopefully it doesn't cause any permanent damage!
Papa and Santa doing the Jingle Bell Jig! It was also my dad's birthday! He can still get down after all these years!
Some of the kids with Santa!

Preschool Christmas Party

Hailey had her preschool Christmas party on Wednesday and the kids had a great time! A little girl in Hailey's class was scared of Santa so Hailey went over and took her hand and kept telling her it would be ok. She is sweet.... SOMETIMES!
Santa and Hailey... Once again she asked for flowers!

Hailey was concerned that Tyler did not get a candy cane from Santa so here she is waiting patiently to ask Santa if her little brother could have a candy cane too! AWWWWW!!!!
