Hooray for ME!!!

FINALLY!!!
Mom and Dad (Super Supporters)
Patrick... my rock! Hailey... my inspiration!

On Saturday I graduated with my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. The journey was long and at times felt never ending! I started the program just after I found out I was pregnant with Hailey. I thought that I would take a break after having her and then continue with it later. After I had Hailey I knew that I had better finish because all I wanted to do was spend my time with her. I thought that if I stopped, I would never restart. So I kept trucking on. I did however miss one class because I was giving birth! =) There are a lot of people that I need to thank personally for being so supportive throughout my program, they know who they are and they will all be getting a great big thank you soon! Also, thanks to everyone that supported me on Saturday! I bet you could have thought of a million things that would be more fun than watching another graduation but you were there supporting me and that meant a lot! Love you all!!!

My First Mother's Day!

It was a great one! I enjoyed hanging out with my family and giving little Hailey lots of hugs and kisses! xoxo She makes me proud to be a new mommy! She is so dang cute! =)

MoMs

I just wanted to give a shout out to my mom and mother in law!

Mom- I love being your daughter. You have done so much for me (and anyone who needed anything at all) throughout the years. You are so giving and your upbeat personality is contagious! I will never ever forget the day I got home from the hospital with Hailey. You came over to give Patrick and I a hand and I just looked at you and started crying. It was in that moment that I realized just how much you love me. It took me having a little one of my own to realize the love that you always felt for me. I love you mom and all that you have done to make me the person I am today! You are my greatest friend!

Sharon- I could have not asked for a better mother in law! From the moment I met you I knew I would love to be in your family. You have managed to raise four AMAZING children who truly grew up to be great examples for everyone around them. I think of you everyday when Patrick does something nice for me just because. I know that you and Dave set a great example for him. He is the love of my life. I want to thank you for raising such an amazing man. For that, I will always be grateful to you!

Watching Dad!

Our Home Owners Association is a HUGE pain in the behind! We received a letter this weekend telling us that we had oil spots in our drive way and we have fifteen days to correct this or we will be fined! So, we spent a good part of Saturday outside with Daddy watching him scrub our drive way. Hailey loves this car! When we go for walks she is either waving at everyone and everything or trying to steer, it's hilarious! I stole the car from my mom and dad! =) Thanks mom and dad!

Surprise!

Patrick surprised me with tickets to Dierks Bentley. I was so EXCITED! Dierks was so great in concert and we were super close! Thanks for the surprise Patrick! =)

CHEESE!!!!!

Hailey started this new thing and it is so funny! Whenever she sees the camera she gets this really big cheesy grin and makes a silly face for us to capture! Patrick and I can not stop laughing about it. We are always pretending to take pictures of her just so we can watch her crinkle her nose and squeeze her cheeks so tight that she almost can't see out of her eyes! She is not camera shy at all. Between my mom and I taking so many pictures, she has become a pro at knowing what to do when she sees a camera!

Sesame Street

Amy, Jed, Patrick and I took Hannah, Syd, Dylan and Hailey to see Sesame Street. Patrick was out of town the week before the show, but made it home just in time to go with us to see Big Bird and friends, lucky him! =) The kids were so cute. They were clapping and stomping their feet having a great time. Hailey had a hard time watching the show because she was so fascinated by what the other kids were doing. She was clapping and laughing along with them. She was even pointing at the things she was excited about! It was a lot of fun to see the kids have a blast! After it was over Aunt Amy bought all of them a balloon. (Yes, She spoils the heck out of all of them.) We still have the balloon and Hailey points and laughs at it every time she sees it! Too cute!
