Patrick was in San Francisco for work so I decided to join him! It was my first time away from Hailey overnight and it was so hard to leave her! My mom and dad had her Thursday and Friday and Patrick's mom and dad had her on Saturday! It was a little easier leaving knowing she was in good hands! Patrick and I had a lot of fun! We explored the city (by foot... don't ask) and we ate and laughed a lot! Sleeping in was the best part! We both kept looking at all the babies and saying how we missed Hailey! It was a fun trip but it was nice to get home to our little munchkin!

Now that you have left her once you will want to do it OFTEN. The first time is hard, everytime after that is a breeze and a blessing. Plus, with trusted babysitters, why not enjoy your time off?
