We haven't spent the 4th of July here in a few years. Usually we are in Montana spending it with Patrick's family. It was a little bitter sweet being here, the kids had a blast but we were wishing we could have been in Big Sky Country! Patrick's unit was in the Summerlin parade and the kids got to participate too. They had a GREAT time riding on the very top of the huge truck waving at all the people watching! It was cute!
We were the very first ones in the parade so after we went through we found Papa and Gega and got to watch the rest of it!
Doesn't he look so tough with that stuffed puppy dog in his pants?!
When the parade was over Patrick took us on a ride inside the truck. Mackenzie and Savannah joined us!
That night we joined the family at Aunt Atlhea's for some good food, swimming, GREAT company and of course FIREWORKS!
After a FUN day they were both super tired.
