Last night, before Hailey fell asleep I read her The Kissing Hand. It is about a little raccoon that is scared to leave his mom to go to school. She kissed him on the hand to help comfort him every time he felt scared. This morning we all drew kissing hands on each other.
Today was not only Hailey's first day of school but it was also mine. I have to teach for a few weeks before this little rascal decides to make her appearance!
Sure going to miss this little man during the day!

Hailey had a great day today! She was excited to tell us all about it when she got home. She met some new friends, passed her cousins in the hall way and loved her new teacher. Her only complaint was that the day was too long!
