Hailey is 4!

I can't believe that my baby girl is 4 years old! It makes me so sad to think about how fast the time went! I wish I could slow it down a little! She is becoming such an independent little girl. Here are some new things that she is into these days:
  • She loves Rapunzel thanks to the Disney movie Tangled.
  • She loves her earrings and touches them when she gets really shy or nervous.
  • Every time we go to the store she asks to buy make-up. She likes to put it on and even likes to put some on her brother every chance she can get.
  • She has this weird obsession with Justin Bieber and likes to sing his "Baby, baby, baby ooooo" song with her brother. We have NO idea where it came from.
  • She loves unicorns and wants all of her new stuffed animals to be ONLY unicorns. On the way home from Montana her Daddy surprised her with one that he saw in a convenient store. She named it Horny! She said because he has a cute horn! HAHAHA!
  • She likes to help around the house. She pretends to pay bills, she likes to vacuum, put the laundry in the wash machine or dryer, clean the dishes and get diapers for her brother.
  • She HATES to put her toys away though!
  • She is a very creative little girl. She likes to finger paint, water color paint, use markers, chalk, crayons or play with play-dough any chance she can get! Arts and crafts keep her busy for HOURS!
  • She loves to write her name and pretend to write letters to family and friends. She is now able to write most of her ABC's.
  • She knows all her letter sounds and names and can read simple words like dog, mop, cat etc!
  • She doesn't like me to do her hair and is always begging to just wear headbands.
  • She has become really good at brushing her own teeth.
  • Her Daddy turned her toddler bed into a full size bed and she is in heaven. She loves her new 'big girl bed" as she calls it.
  • Any time she asks for water she says, " Can I have cold water, WITH ICE" it is really funny how she says it.
  • Just recently she has turned into a picky eater like her Daddy. We have to convince her to eat healthy food by telling her if she doesn't eat it then someday her brother will be bigger than her.
  • She loves her baby brother to pieces and anytime she is separated for short periods of time she runs to him and smothers him with hugs and kisses.
  • She also loves to fight with her brother. She antagonizes him until he pulls her hair then she will hit him or knock him down and run!
  • She loves flowers and is always trying to pick them or buy them from the stores.
  • She learned how to do somersaults in Gymnastics class and is now doing them all he time.
  • She LOVES LOVES to build forts with blankets, pillows and towels and will hide and play in them with her baby brother.
  • She likes rollie pollies and I think they are the ONLY bug she actually attempts to touch.
  • She is always asking her Daddy and I to take the couch bed out. She would sleep in it every night of we would let her.
  • She is still sleeping in her undies. She wears PJ's until the time it is time to crawl into bed then off they come. She likes to be cold when she sleeps. She gets restless if her sheets are hot!
  • She recently stared playing with her barbies and it is so much fun to watch. She will pretend some funny stuff with them and I can't help but giggle while watching and listening to the things she comes up with.
  • She still likes to play dress up but that is slowly fading away. She fills her time with other things now. Every now and then she will want to pretend to be Dorothy or a princess. I LOVE it and I hope that doesn't fade away all together too quickly.
  • She LOVES to watch Spongebob and things it is the funniest show on earth. We limit the time spent watching that useless show!
Happy HAPPY Birthday Susie Q!!!
Mommy, Daddy, Tyler and Abby love you to the moon and back!
XOXO
